Ottawa, 8 October (The Global Eye): Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is facing renewed pressure from within his own party, with several MPs calling for his resignation, citing a loss of confidence in his leadership. The demand comes amid growing frustration over the government’s handling of economic challenges, rising living costs and internal divisions.
Several MPs from Trudeau’s party have urged him to step down, citing a lack of confidence in his leadership.
Some MPs have said that Trudeau has lost the support of his caucus and that his leadership is no longer effective in addressing the country’s pressing issues. “The government needs a new direction,” one MP said. “Canadians deserve better leadership.”
Trudeau, however, remains firm, saying he is focused on delivering results for Canadians and will continue to work for a stronger and more inclusive economy.
