Brampton, Ontario, Canada — The auspicious festival of Ganesh Chaturthi was celebrated with great religious fervour, devotion and enthusiasm in Brampton. The Ganpati Sthapan and Puja is being organized continuously for the fifth year by a dedicated religious group from Andhra Pradesh, India, led by Mr. Raghav, Mr. Nanni, Mr. Yashwant and Mr. Anil.
For the last five years, the group has been selflessly organizing this divine event in Canada with the objective of keeping Hindu culture, traditions and religious values alive among the next generation and bringing the community together.
The idol of Lord Ganesha was installed as per Vedic rituals with the chanting of mantras, aarti and bhajans. A large number of devotees from the Indian community, including families, youth and senior citizens, attended the puja and sought the blessings of Lord Ganesha for peace, prosperity and well-being.
