
Brampton | Ontario: A Year of Togetherness, Culture and Celebration
Jai Hind Seniors Club is a registered non-profit organization, completely dedicated to the welfare, health and happiness of our senior citizens. Our mission is to keep our seniors physically active, mentally vibrant and socially connected through meaningful cultural, spiritual and recreational activities in the warm company of friends.
Under the visionary and dynamic leadership of our President Shri Chandreshbhai Patel, along with dedicated Office Bearers and Board of Directors, the period from June to August 2026 has been exceptionally vibrant, memorable and filled with unity, cultural pride and joyful togetherness.
HIGHLIGHTS OF ACTIVITIES (June 2026 to August 2026)
# 1st June, 2026 – Inauguration of New Session
The new session of the Club commenced with great enthusiasm and festive spirit at the Recreation Centre, Country Garden, Brampton. The auspicious beginning was marked by soulful songs, graceful dance performances and entertaining programs presented by our talented members, which enthralled a large gathering of seniors and guests. “Ageless Rhythm & Golden Beats” – A Grand Cultural Extravaganza
The cultural program “Ageless Rhythm & Golden Beats” was an unprecedented success and proved that age is just a number. The program began auspiciously with Deep Prajwalan. Our seniors presented heart-touching dances, melodious music and skits, showcasing that talent and enthusiasm only grow with age. The hall echoed with joy and applause.
# 2nd June, 2026 – Commencement of Daily Yoga Sessions
Daily Yoga sessions were started from 2nd June, 2026 from 7:30 to 8:30 AM under the able guidance of our professionally trained instructors – Mrs. Jaishree Ben, Mr. Pinaki Mandaliya, Mrs. Simran Ji, Mrs. Pravina Ben, Mrs. Saroj Ben and Mrs. Kamini Ben. These regular sessions have proved to be a boon for our seniors, helping them remain energetic, healthy and mentally refreshed.
#21st June, 2026 – Grand Celebration of “International Yoga Day”
About 130 members celebrated International Yoga Day with great zeal and energy for two hours with Zumba and rhythmic music. The event was graced by Shri Amarjeet Singh Gill, M.P., and his wife Mrs. Aman Gill. The energetic session was followed by delicious and healthy breakfast, fostering health and harmony.
# 4th July, 2026 – Grand Canada Day & Unity Celebration of Indian Community
Canada Day was celebrated with immense pride, patriotism and unity at Jim Irons Park, Brampton. The event beautifully showcased cultural harmony within the Indo-Canadian community. Prominent dignitaries including Mr. Amarjeet Singh Gill (MP), Mr. Amarjot Sandhu (MPP), Mrs. Navjeet Kaur Brar (City Councillor), Mr. Michael Palleschi (Regional Councillor), Mrs. Jagruti Patel (Mayoral Candidate), Mr. Kewal Shah (Councillor Candidate), Mr. Ajay Fotedar (Media Partner – The Global Eye) and other community leaders graced the occasion.
In his inspiring welcome address, President Shri Chandreshbhai Patel emphasized unity, cultural pride and gratitude towards Canada – our beloved Karma Bhoomi. Generous donors and distinguished guests were duly felicitated. The program was elegantly anchored by Mrs. Manisha Purvar. Family games, vibrant Gujarati Garba, energetic Bhangra by children and a Lucky Draw with exciting prizes were the main attractions. The celebration concluded with a grand dinner hosted by the Club.

# 25th July, 2026 – Gujarati Garba Performance at Prestigious Rose Theatre.
It was a moment of great pride when our senior members performed the famous Gujarati Garba at the prestigious ‘Rose Theatre’, Brampton. The large audience was mesmerized by the wonderful talent, rhythm and boundless energy of our seniors and applauded them with a standing ovation.
*15th August, 2026 – 80th Independence Day Celebration*
The spirit of patriotism was at its peak as members celebrated India’s 80th Independence Day with flag hoisting, patriotic songs and tributes to our freedom fighters. It was a nostalgic and proud moment for all.
*23rd August, 2026 – Annual Excursion to Blue Mountain & Wasaga Beach*
The much-awaited annual excursion to the scenic Blue Mountain and Wasaga Beach was full of fun, frolic and friendship. Seniors enjoyed nature, scenic beauty and joyful moments together, creating memories to cherish forever.
*24th August, 2026 – Sacred Group Rudrabhishek of Lord Shiva*
The session concluded on a deeply spiritual note with a sacred Group Rudrabhishek of Lord Shiva for world peace, health and well-being of all members and their families. The divine chants created an atmosphere of peace and devotion.
