Ahaan Panday shone bright with his hit film Saiyaara last year. But right after the release, he faced a big health fight that he hid from fans.
The young actor went through shoulder surgery soon after the movie came out. This came from an old injury caused by a snowmobile accident years ago. It was a shoulder subluxation that stopped him from gym workouts and building strength.
Ahaan described it as one of the most painful surgeries with the longest recovery. Doctors warned him his body would go back to zero. He could not move his arm for months and wore a cast. Yet, he stayed quiet and kept working on his fitness.
Recovery was tough. Ahaan said he lost motivation at times. He went from injured and weak to slowly lifting weights again. Fans noticed him looking thinner and asked his mother, Deanne Panday, about it. She handles fitness, so they worried. But Ahaan surprised everyone by pushing through.
Now, Ahaan is fit and ready for his next big film. It is an action romance by Ali Abbas Zafar, backed by Yash Raj Films. Sharvari stars opposite him. This is his second project with the banner after Saiyaara, where he played Krish, a musician in love with a poet.
