We are pleased to share that our grand celebration of “Diwali Sneh Milan & Preeti Bhojan” was held with great enthusiasm and joy at the Archdekin Recreation Center under the banner of Jai Hind Seniors Club, Brampton. The event brought a. great gathering of seniors & their family members, guests, and well-wishers from the Indian community across the Greater Toronto Area.

Auspicious Beginning
The program commenced with a traditional Ganesh Vandana, followed by devotional bhajans and melodious musical performances, creating an atmosphere filled with positivity and divine grace.
Presidential Address
Our respected President, Shri Chandresh bhai Patel, delivered an inspiring and visionary address. He elaborated on the mission and vision of the Jai Hind Seniors Club — uniting seniors, enriching their lives with confidence, dignity, emotional strength, and a sense of security. His interaction with seniors and their families has strengthened the bond within our community, resulting in the large and enthusiastic turnout at this year’s celebration.
Youth Participation – A New Milestone
This year, we proudly witnessed an exceptional intergenerational fusion. A group of energetic youngsters led by Divyang Trivedi, Nirbhay Makwana, Harit Patel, Prateek Chaturvedi, Biren Mehta, Nirav Patel, Dipendra Mazumder, Hiren Patel, Sheetal Patel, Trushali Patel and Sejal Patel supported by several others, joined us with enthusiasm. Their participation brought refreshing energy, creativity, and a modern touch to the celebration — making this event truly unique and memorable.
We are happy to share that ” Jay Hind Canadian Society INC” has now opened it’s membership
to our younger generation. This initiative aims to create meaningful interaction with our Seniors Club, where our youth can assist our senior members in staying informed about their rights, learning new technology, and using smart phones for various every day needs, including emergency situations.
Warm Welcome, Hospitality & Delicious Preeti Bhojan
Every guest was warmly welcomed with chandan Tilak, followed by tea, coffee, and light snacks served continuously until noon. The dignitaries were honored with shawls as a gesture of respect and appreciation.
Later, a delicious and hygienically prepared lunch was served to all our honorable members and guests, who relishingly enjoyed the meal during the program, adding flavor and satisfaction to the festive spirit of the day.
Certificate of Appreciation
We deeply acknowledge the presence of Mr. Amarjeet Gill, who personally joined the celebrations. In his address, he appreciated President Chandresh bhai Patel’s vision and commended the efforts of both organizations. He presented the Certificate of Appreciation to Jai Hind Seniors Club and Jai Hind Canadian Society INC, recognising their contributions and dedicated service to the welfare of seniors.
Entertainment & Activities
Talented anchor Manisha Puvar along with Trushali Patel took charge of the entertainment segment with her lively hosting. She engaged the audience with a variety of enjoyable games suitable for all age groups.
Special games for youngsters brought delightful moments filled with joy and laughter, aligning perfectly with the organization’s objective of relieving stress and promoting happiness among seniors and their families.
Cultural Performance
The beautiful Garba dance presented by our women participants added a captivating cultural highlight that charmed everyone present and filled the hall with rhythm, colour, and festive joy. The dance performances by young children captivated the audience with their charm and enthusiasm. The graceful Ganesh Vandana by Heer Patel, followed by a beautifully presented Bharatanatyam performance by Manyata Shah, drew continuous applause and appreciation from everyone present, reflecting the audience’s admiration for their talent and dedication.
A Celebration of Togetherness
The event strengthened our commitment to the well-being and happiness of our senior community. This celebration has truly inspired us to organize more meaningful and engaging programs in future.
Unity and Commitment: A Collective Pledge
On this auspicious day, the members of Jai Hind Seniors Club and Jai Hind Canadian Society raised their right hands and pledged to uphold the rich traditions and cultural values of India on Canadian soil.
They resolved to stay away from hatred, discord, and negativity, and to support one another with kindness and respect. The members committed to nurturing strong relationships, helping fellow seniors whenever needed, and filling their “second innings” of life with harmony, joy, and togetherness.
This meaningful pledge reflects their dedication to a happier, healthier, and more united community.
