Health Camp of New Jersey (HCNJ) successfully organized its 19th Annual Health Fair at Shree Swaminarayan Temple in Secaucus, NJ, on Sunday, November 9, 2025, where more than 200 community members participated and benefitted from a wide range of preventive health services. HCNJ, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, has been conducting annual health fairs at this location since 1998, with the goal of serving uninsured and underinsured individuals in the South Asian community.
This year’s health fair provided comprehensive screening, education, and counseling services covering medical, dental, and mental health needs. Participants received preventive evaluations for chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular disorders, various types of cancers, mental health conditions, and pain-related issues. The event also offered blood tests, EKGs, physical examinations, cardiology and pain management consults, cancer screening and education, women’s health evaluations, dietary counseling, physical therapy, alternative medicine, CPR training and influenza vaccinations, among many other services.
A dedicated team of physicians, specialists, mental health professionals, pharmacists, phlebotomists, EKG technicians, medical assistants, nurses, social workers, and medical students volunteered their time to support the event. Their expertise played a vital role in identifying chronic disease abnormalities and providing culturally focused education tailored to the South Asian community.

The health fair was honored by the presence of Secaucus Mayor Mike Gonnelli, who commended HCNJ and the temple volunteers and management for their long-standing service and commitment to community health and extended his continued support to both organizations.
Since its inception, HCNJ has screened more than 14,000 individuals statewide and identified over 4,500 chronic disease abnormalities, ensuring that high-risk community members receive timely referrals and education. In 2025 alone, HCNJ conducted six health fairs across New Jersey, screening more than 800 individuals, with the final health fair of the year scheduled for Sunday, November 23, 2025, in Parsippany, NJ.
HCNJ celebrated its 25th Anniversary Gala in 2023, during which it announced its vision to launch a Community Health Center to provide year-round access to care for underserved populations. Progress toward the center is well underway, with an official announcement expected in early 2026.
