Surati for Performing Arts, a Jersey City-based 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization, is organizing a fun-filled celebration of Holi festival on Saturday, June 14, 2025. The 16th Annual Surati Holi Hai Color Walk & Festival is one of the largest celebrations of the Spring Festival of Colors in the tri-state area.
Rooted in Indian tradition, Holi celebrates the triumph of good over evil, the arrival of spring, and the joy of community through color, music, dance, and unity.

This all-day, family-friendly event is open to the public and welcomes people of all ages. The day begins with its signature Hudson River Color Walk at 9 AM starting near the Hoboken Light Rail Station, featuring a color countdown, live drummers, dance and yoga workshops.
The festivities will continue at Exchange Place, Jersey City from 12 PM to 8 PM, where attendees can enjoy:
- Vibrant color play
- Live music, dance, and cultural performances
- A children’s zone with bouncy house and rides
- Art exhibitions
- Food vendors, a bar, DJ, and a VIP arena

The festival is free to attend, though there is a registration fee for the Color Walk.
